The BaPIP investment project database can be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Potential investors can search for local investment opportunities best matched with their interests. BaPIP facilitates contact with project owners to ensure deals are closed and strategic partnerships formed.
Project stakeholders can upload projects online using a standardized form designed to ensure that the project’s key business plan variables are addressed. Project owners, private-sector intermediate entities or government organizations acting in the country and/or with technical skills related to the investment project (sponsoring institution) are eligible to submit projects to BaPIP.
BaPIP showcases investment projects permanently through the website; furthermore, the projects are promoted by Argentine embassies and consulates abroad as well as by the Undersecretariat for Investment Development and Trade Promotion’s investor services area in Argentina and investment missions organized in other countries.
In addition to initiatives undertaken by project stakeholders to upload their projects, since BaPIP’s inception in 2011, the Undersecretariat for Investment Development and Trade Promotion has spearheaded an ongoing search for investment projects nationwide in coordination with national ministries, provincial and local governments and the business community. The Undersecretariat also provides project stakeholders with technical assistance to complete the form with the relevant variables to ensure their project is well received by the investment community once uploaded to the BaPIP.
